Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Ngilgi Cave, Yallingup Caves Road, Yallingup, Western Australia 6282 Australia

Experience the beautiful bush surrounds while you learn about Ngilgi's rich history - from the fascinating Aboriginal Dreamtime story describing the battle between a good spirit (Ngilgi) and an evil spirit (Wolgine). The cave now takes its name from this rich Aboriginal legend. However, it was formerly known as Yallingup Cave, when the first tourists arrived in 1899. Your guide will regale you with stories of these early cave tourists - of candlelight tours, romantic escapades and close encounters - as you make your way down into the cave. You will then be free to discover the beauty of Ngilgi Cave on your own.

Extensive boardwalks lead you through the impressive chambers of this underground wonderland. Along the way, lighting illuminates hidden marvels and signage allows you to learn more about the remarkable crystal cave decorations.  Another guide stationed in the centre of the cave can answer questions and provide more information on the many beautiful areas within the cave. Discover new chambers and formations at every turn, including the 'Fairy Cave' and 'Cupid's Corner'. There is also a junior explorer's tunnel to provide fun for little ones!

It was good. We thought it would be cold, but not too bad. The rest of this review is because it says I needed to use a minimum of 100 characters.

What an experience! Fun in Greece has been locked out of their natural environment: travel over the Covid lockdown! Finally getting clearance to travel to WA for a family Christmas, Fun in Greece HQ'd at Smiths Beach Yallingup. Just up the road is the Ngilgi Cave. Great staff were more than helpful to set up a semi-guided tour. The next day we joined a bunch of families and a guide. The caves were amazing: beautifully lit and well supplied with safe stairways winding around extraordinary structures. Up and down we went, squeezing between thousand year old stalactites and stalagmites forming "cathedrals of stone " . In the middle of it, we encountered Paul, the in place guide who was amazingly informative about everything cave. And then he helped us to make our way to the surface. Definitely recommended.

Before we entered the cave we were able to look at the heritage stories of the cave which allowed us to know more about the cave before exploring. When we went into the cave we were told about the area with a great echo where I took the opportunity to sing a few songs.

I have visited most of the tourist caves in the Southwest of Western Australia and I would have to say Ngilgi Cave is one of the best. It's a marvelous experience. Nigli Cave has lots of formations (stalagmites and statagtites) which will interest visitors. It is quite a long cave, just watch your step. You should also consider how far you are going to go if you are prone to claustrophobia, though you are unlikely to come to any harm.

To many to mention, however doing to the base of the cave was exciting, the information and lighting was great. the steps had been steep but easy to walk on. Even seen some wild life in the cave before leaving, very encouraging to explore more caves

Loved the cave. Close to Yallingup. Great if you do another cave tour down closer to Margaret River as you can get some discount if you book 2 cave tours online.
